Abstract Submission
Once again we are offering the opportunity for ‘Novice Education Researchers' to present their work in the form of a 5 minute/5 ppt slide presentation to a friendly and supportive audience. The deadline for submission is 5pm on Friday 29th September.
We will confirm acceptance one week later – i.e. by the 6th October, and all presenters MUST be registered for the conference by 13th October – or their abstract will be withdrawn.
We welcome abstracts from Undergraduates, and any colleague up until the level of post-doc (in Education research). Any colleagues who is post-doc in another research discipline but who is starting out in Educational research is welcome also.
Presentations need not be of completed work – they can include a research idea or projects partly completed. We aim to provide support and mentorship in the manner of a 'critical friend'.
Please see below the link to a submission form which is the only route by which applications will be accepted.
Abstract submission deadline has now passed
Pre conference workshop for those new to Dental Education Research
On the afternoon of Thursday 9th November BARDES will be hosting an interactive workshop for novice dental education researchers. The workshop aims to allow researchers the opportunity to work with experts in this field to develop their research question and consider how a 'fundable project' might best be presented. The workshop will be supported by experienced educational researchers who are actively involved in the NIHR Incubator for Clinical Education Research
https://clinicaleducationresearch.org/
The workshop will be free to attend for anyone registered to attend the conference on the following day, and will include admission to a social event on the evening of the 9th November.
To register interest in attending we are asking that people use the following link.
